An actually stylish flat shoe that's great for everyday wear.

The Gobi II are exactly what I was looking for. Something looking casual and at the same time having the attributes of a proper barefoot shoe. To my surprise they are also very water resistant so you can wear them all the time, not having to worry about wet feet.

The Gobi's are my 2nd pair of Vivo's and they haven't disappointed. I actually wish I'd just bit the bullet and bought them first but I thought I'd test the waters with a cheaper pair, I got the Primus lite 3. 5 I think they're called. I do still love them too but I got them a size too big and they feel more like clowns shoes!! That's what the kids call them too.
However, the gobi sneakers, firstly I got the right size, by using the new measuring system (put your feet next to a blank piece of A4 paper, that wasnt available when I bought the first ones, and its very good, told me my right size which was correct) For context, I normally wear a UK 8, so i got an 8 in the primus lites. There's a good thumb width space above the big toe. Once I'd done the paper measuring thing on my phone, it said I should buy a 6. A SIX?!!! I went with it, and it was right, so the Gobi's are a 6, I likely could have got away with a 7 too, but the 6 is a nicer more sneaker like fit for me.
So the Gobi's are like a black sneaker (or trainer as us brit's call them), and thats what I wanted. Just black. They fit well, feel great, look smart with shorts, jeans or chinos and I wear them on nature walks, and business meetings.
They're my favourite Vivo. Expensive yes, but I love mine. No regrets. I'm actually considering a 3rd pair, the primus have become gym shoes, the Gobi's a smarter everyday wear, and I'm thinking of a trail show or boot for my walks/hikes.

Great quality and appearance. Size 10 UK fits exact to size. Very comfortable and great for walking in. Would recommend leather Vivo’s over the synthetic materials for the comfort and look. Wish they were in white though rather than the off white colour. Well packaged and shipped fast.

I'll recommend these shoes to anyone I know who cares about having good looking/feeling shoes and wants their feet to stay healthy at the same time.

Don't know why these style shoes (barefoot) aren't the standard globally. It's way better for your feet.
