Really well made and warm

These are great and stylish too.

Have worn these on days when the temperate was down to 10 degrees Fahrenheit and my feet were toasty.

Pull tabs are well placed and feel sturdy, and it’s just a well made boot.

Bought these to wear after surfing during the winter and they do keep even wet feet warm. So, when my feet are dry these boots slide on and off very easily. But when my feet are wet, they require more effort. the fabric that lines the heel on the inside makes it hard to just slide your foot in, it feels grippy and requires alot more work to pull on. With cold fingers I found it tough. Once on though my feet are warm.

I replaced the insole that came in the boot with a slightly more cushioned one which added a layer of comfort and made the feel practically perfect for me. YMMV

Sizing: Vivo seem to run large and other brands wear 11. 5-12, in the Motus Strength wear a size 10 which really hug my feet and that’s the size I first ordered because these are supposed to run large. They fit, but actually found them too snug and ordered a size up and am very happy I did. They still have a snug fit but with much room in the toes.

I would say these are

I would say these are among the most comfortable boots, but then again, most Vivo Barefoot shoes are. These are super comfy! I was initially a bit concerned about temperature comfort and ended up replacing the Vivo thermal insole with a wool insole. However, with warm socks, they handle mild winter weather just fine (tested down to around -5°C). The tread is neutral and unnoticeable on concrete. I bought this pair as loose boots that are easy to take off, and they work great in that regard. Long walks are manageable, but I feel like the Tracker Winter or Magna Lite WR SG provide a more firm fit that feels safer for long distances.

Comfortable in the cold

I would suggest ordering your normal size. I usually order a 46, but I ordered a 45 based on your recommendation. They are just a little small for me. Make sure the fit is good before wearing them outside, in case you need to return them. Quality is good. Reasonably comfortable at 25F degrees. I have to limit how much I wear them since 3 of the small toes press against the end of the shoe. If you can find a size that fits, these are nice shoes for walking, casual hiking or just hanging out.

Love this boot

So warm, comfy and looks stylish. I've gotten a number of compliments. I'm so happy you make boots that can brave the cold and still give that barefoot experience.

Not sylish, but comfy

Very comfortable to wear, and they seem warm enough for winter walks, too. One size down from the usual size is perfect advice.

Walking on clouds

They are very comfortable, light, soft, like walking on clouds. Quick on and off is a big advantage. Since I got them, I wear them every day for walks in the forest + for off-road rides. In fact, in my free time I only wear the Explorer Mid and the Gobi Hiber (the latter for around town).
